This
is the Book (the Qur'an), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to
those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear
Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has
forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He
has ordained)]. Who believe in the Ghaib and perform As-Salat
(Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend out of what we have provided for them [i.e.
give Zakat , spend on themselves, their parents, their children, their
wives, etc., and also give charity to the poor and also in Allah's Cause
- Jihad, etc.]. And who believe in (the Qur'an and the Sunnah) which
has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and
in [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent
down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter.
(Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and
Hell, etc.). They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are
the successful. Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them
whether you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) warn them or do not warn
them, they will not believe.
- Surah Al-Baqarah (Varses 2-6)
You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Qur'an), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise).
- Surah Ya-Sin (Varses 11)
Verily, this Qur'an guides to that which is most just and right and gives glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger, Muhammad , etc.). who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a great reward (Paradise).
- Surah Al-Isra' (Varses 9)
Whoever goes right, then he goes right only for the benefit of his ownself. And whoever goes astray, then he goes astray to his own loss. No one laden with burdens can bear another's burden. And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning).
- Surah Al-Isra' (Varses 15)
Whoever wishes for the quick-passing (transitory enjoyment of this world), We readily grant him what We will for whom We like. Then, afterwards, We have appointed for him Hell, he will burn therein disgraced and rejected, ( far away from Allah's Mercy). And whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it, with the necessary effort due for it (i.e. do righteous deeds of Allah's Obedience) while he is a believer (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), then such are the ones whose striving shall be appreciated, thanked and rewarded (by Allah).
- Surah Al-Isra' (Varses 18-19)
And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour.. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small." Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance.
